The NFTA partnered with the International Institute of Buffalo to welcome a group of five international visitors from Hungary as part of the Energy Security and Market Stability Program. This program encourages collaboration between U.S. lawmakers and global energy leaders, focusing on best practices in energy security and the adoption of emerging energy sources.

This morning, members of HSEQ and Service Planning hosted the group at our headquarters where they discussed sustainability projects at the NFTA, Buffalo's history and future in transportation, and our investments in more efficient public transit and renewable energy. After the meeting, the group enjoyed a brief walking tour and took a much-anticipated ride on our Metro Rail system.
