NFTA team members joined community partners and local officials on June 17 to celebrate the unveiling of the newly wrapped Metro Parks Adventure Bus ahead of the program’s fifth season. The bus was designed by the talented Cailtin Klein on our Creative Services team.
The event brought together representatives from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation, Erie County Parks, Recreation & Forestry, the Department of Environmental Conservation, and other community stakeholders to highlight the program’s continued success and impact.
Everyone in attendance had the opportunity to take a first look at the vibrant new bus design, created by the NFTA's talented Caitlin Klein. The wrap reflects the spirit of outdoor adventure and accessibility that has made the Parks Adventure Bus a popular summer program for the past five years.
The Parks Adventure Bus provides free transportation from downtown Buffalo to parks and outdoor destinations across Western New York, helping connect residents and visitors to hiking trails, beaches, nature preserves, and recreational opportunities throughout the region.
As the program returns for another season, we are proud to partner with organizations across Western New York to help make the region’s parks and outdoor spaces more accessible for everyone.
