Our November Open House, held on Wednesday at the MTC, was not just a success, but a testament to the dedicated efforts of our HR and Metro operations teams. We had a great turnout and received over 75 applications, 40+ of which were for bus driver positions. 

Among the crowd were many Sumitomo Rubber workers looking for new jobs in WNY following the recent and abrupt shut down of the tire plant in Tonawanda. Our HR teams have actually already been interviewing candidates and helping qualified individuals come on board at the NFTA. 

As a whole, the interest in our NFTA open houses has been growing steadily in the past few months, and we hope to continue this success with the next open house on December 12 at Frontier Garage (see flyer).
