Our Wegmans-sponsored flu shot clinics began this week, and we have seen a significant turnout. These on-site clinics make it easy and quick to get your flu shot, eliminating the need to take time off work or travel to a doctor's office or pharmacy.

Benefits include:

• Flu shots are covered by health insurance, making vaccination more accessible to everyone.
• The flu shot significantly reduces the risk of flu-related hospitalization and death, even if a vaccinated person still gets the flu. It also lessens the severity of symptoms and the duration of the illness.
• Getting a flu shot helps protect vulnerable people in your life, such as infants, the elderly, and those with chronic health conditions, who are at a higher risk of serious flu complications.
