On June 16, the Parks Adventure Bus set out to Knox Farm State Park. The 633-acre park featured a variety of habitats including grasslands, woodlands, ponds, and several wetland areas. There was a free scavenger hunt, birding and butterfly hikes, historic buildings to see, and an on-site picnic.

The next Adventure Bus departs on June 25 for Chestnut Ridge in Orchard Park. There will be hiking trails with Park Rangers at noon so riders can learn about local plants and animals. There will also be disc golf, picnics, and a variety of ponds and creeks for fishing. For more information see Parks Bus.
