The Transit Authority Police Department has announced several promotions.

Lt. Collin Griffiths has been promoted to Captain and will oversee the Detective Division and Internal Affairs. This promotion took effect on August 23, 2026. Lt. Lauren Zani has also been promoted to Captain and will serve as the department’s Administrative Captain, with her new role starting on August 30, 2026.

Additionally, two officers have advanced to the rank of Lieutenant. Lt. Aaron Dinderski's promotion took effect on August 23, 2026, while Lt. Gerald Cathcart's promotion will take effect on August 30, 2026. Officer Marisa Mauro has also been promoted to Officer in Charge of Accreditation.

Their dedication and service have earned them these significant new responsibilities. We wish them continued success as they transition into their new roles within the department.
