On Tuesday, August 19, the NFTA, in partnership with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), hosted a public hearing at Sweet Home Middle School on the proposed Buffalo-Amherst-Tonawanda Corridor Transit Expansion Project.

The hearing provided the public an opportunity to submit verbal or written input on the recently released Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the project. The meeting was attended by over 200 people, with nearly 70 comments received on the project.
