Our Executive Director Kim Minkel and Customer Service Manager Crystal Edwards raised the Juneteenth Flag outside the MTC to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people in the U.S. and honor the extraordinary contributions of African Americans. Jennifer Jones, President of Buffalo’s Juneteenth Festival, joined in the event and spoke about the history and importance of Juneteenth.
