As we move into week 3 of National Safety Month (June), our focus is on beating the heat.

Topics include:

  • Beat the Heat: Consume water-rich foods to prevent dehydration, apply sunscreen as needed, and check your car before exiting, especially if you should not be left unattended.
  • Summer Safety: Wear sunscreen, be mindful of ticks, and identify a safe location in case of lightning.
  • Work Zone Safety: Take breaks from the heat, drink water, and check the weather early to prepare for the day.
