As we embrace the changing seasons, it is important to prioritize our safety and mental/physical well-being. The lower temperatures and shorter days should not deter daily walks or outdoor activities that promote a safe and healthy lifestyle. Getting outside for some fresh air and a bit of exercise offers numerous health benefits, including cardiovascular fitness, improved mood and sleep, weight maintenance, and a strengthened immune system.

To enhance safety, the HSEQ team will be providing adjustable reflective bands for employees. Whether you prefer early morning or evening walks or activities, these bands when worn on your arm or ankle will improve visibility and contribute to a safer outdoor experience.

If you are interested in a reflective band and have not received one, please contact Allison Lenda by email at Allison.Lenda@nfta.com or at ext. 7437.
