Dina Bigham's former K9 Partner, Eci, has been named Top Dog 2024 by Resurgence Brewery.  

For the 4th year in a row, Resurgence Brewery Company was searching for Buffalo's Top Dog and Coolest Cat to be the faces of their new summer brew. One dog and one cat will be featured on Resurgence's new summer brew/can, a local billboard, and formally named Buffalo's Top Dog and Coolest Cat. 

This year's contest had a superhero theme: What makes your dog or cat a superhero. Eci was a clear winner as a superhero and also raised the most money overall -- $5,211 dollars ($1 per vote) that will benefit the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter and Ten Lives Club.

The winners of the dog and cat contests have been invited to the Resurgence Brewery to the rescue pet-friendly party on July 28 to celebrate the launch of the special new brew/can release and support further fundraising efforts for homeless animals.
