On Saturday, August 23, an estimated 300 individuals participated in the NFTA's 5K Run the Runway at the Niagara Falls International Airport. The event offered a rare opportunity to run on an illuminated tarmac and featured live entertainment from Buffalo’s own DJ Milk.

The primary sponsor was Greenlight Networks, and additional sponsors were Wayland Brewing Company and Mr. Ventry's Pizza for the post-event party.  All fundraising proceeds will benefit the Western New York Law Enforcement Helpline, a critical resource providing vital mental health and wellness support to the brave men and women of law enforcement, dispatchers, and their families across Western New York.
