To NFTA team members,

I wanted to be sure that everyone is informed about a terrible incident that occurred at MTC. On Friday evening we had a fatal stabbing take place between two women who were arguing. The two women knew each other. While this was not a random act of violence, it certainly is something that is both frightening and deeply sad. I want you to know that your safety is my top priority, and our police officers do a tremendous job protecting the public and our employees. Please know that we will be taking extra percussions following Friday’s incident. Don’t hesitate to reach out to our officers at any time. They do an incredible job responding to concerns and keeping us safe.

I want to also thank everyone for your commitment to your critical work here at the NFTA. During these challenging times, you have gone above and beyond the call of duty to support our community and please know it is greatly appreciated.
