Representatives from the NFTA and Delaware North cut the ribbon today to officially open Satterfield's Restaurant, the new pre-security bar and lounge at the Buffalo Airport. The venue offers a warm and inviting space for meet-and-greeters ahead of the airport's centennial celebration in 2026.
Named Satterfield's Bar & Lounge, the venue honors the legacy of airport founder John M. Satterfield and celebrates Buffalo's rich aviation heritage. The 50-seat lounge features décor and wall graphics that pay tribute to the region's aviation history, creating a visual storytelling experience that connects guests to the airport's roots and evokes a sense of returning home. The lounge operates primarily from late morning through the evening, launching with a focused menu featuring flatbreads, salads, sandwiches, and small plates. A grab-and-go cooler will also be available.
The concept was developed by our longtime airport concessionaire, Delaware North.
