Aidan Ricotta and Liam Keyes were part of the Public Affairs team this summer as communications and special event interns. Aidan is a graduate student in Public Relations at SUNY Buffalo State, and Liam is a third-year marketing student at SUNY Geneseo.

While here, they worked on various projects, including creating content and postings for Elements, our digital screens, and other resources. They also played a vital role in organizing and participating in the NFTA's outreach efforts for the Taste of Buffalo and two Touch-A-Truck events—one for Explore & More and the other at the Erie County Fair. They were also involved in the Clean Sweep initiative and Run the Runway at the Niagara Falls Airport.

Throughout their internships, they continuously grew their skills in content development, communications, public engagement, and event planning. As their internships came to a close, Aidan and Liam delivered an engaging presentation to a diverse internal audience, sharing their experiences, insights, and valuable lessons learned. They also expressed deep gratitude for the meaningful friendships they formed and the exceptional mentorship and support they received during their time at the NFTA.
