In April, we received some great commendations from customers that we would like to share. Please see below:

  • A driver wanted to inform us about a janitor/custodian who provides great work and great customer service. He is outstanding at his job, always willing to help someone down here at the MTC. Our Driver's room has never been cleaner, and the area outside is outstanding. He always seems to do the job nobody wants to do, and he does it with a personal touch. He should be recognized for his outstanding work ethic. Just wanted to let you know you got a good one.

  • The caller stated she rode on a 32 I/B around 11 am (today). She got on at Amherst and Main St. She stated that the driver was very courteous & professional. She spoke to the driver about a cologne smell on the bus. He stated ok & turned the air on, so she would be more comfortable. She also stated that he is very professional & a joy to ride with.

  • The customer stated that bus operators are such a great group, very well-mannered, and provide all-around customer service that takes care of the NFTA community very well. Really glad to have him.

  • The caller states the driver is excellent and always goes above and beyond. He waited for her today when he saw her running, he usually will wait if he sees her and he is an asset to the company. Great Job!

  • Riders reported that 2 of them were waiting at Cleveland & Harlem Rd for the 32 Black Rock that left Thruway Plaza @ 8:30 pm and is scheduled to get to my stop at 9:00. Due to an accident up Cleveland Dr and according to my Transit App, the bus icon was showing it sitting there for a while and we assumed it was being held up but would eventually show up. It had just finished pouring and got stormy with no shelter. At about 9:15, I looked over at the Cleveland - Harlem loop and saw a bus coming down Harlem Rd and turning onto Cleveland Dr the next block over. The bus beeped and stopped at the stop on Cleveland Dr, waiting for us. We had to wait for traffic at the circle and rushed over, but knew he'd wait. They told the kid I was waiting with that the driver could have left us because they had rerouted or no re-route. I thanked the driver, but wanted to send an email to thank him again. He deserves recognition for going above and beyond!

  • The caller stated that the driver was very nice and answered all questions. Very helpful, patient. He is explaining things clearly and doing a great job. Awesome driver.

  • The caller stated the driver is always smiling, polite, and an amazing driver. He speaks to everyone and is always friendly. Great Job!

  • The customer was running late for the bus, and he pulled over and waited for him. Very friendly bus operator. Thankful for his service.

  • The customer stated the driver looked out for everyone getting on the bus. An older gentleman waited for him since he couldn't walk fast. She even let the ramp down for herself without her asking. Very nice.

  • The customer wanted to thank an employee for bringing joy to people's lives. You are very kind and caring. The joy you bring is worth mentioning because it's a gift you share with others. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to meet you and share in your kindness, no matter what or where you are. I know that you are sharing your gift.

  • The customer stated that their driver goes out of her way to assist passengers daily. She has her regulars who love her. She announces each stop and mentions points of interest, such as stores and the SSA office. She's a gem.
