We’re thrilled to share a selection of customer commendations from September, gathered directly by our Customer Care team.

• The Customer stated: "Last week, as I was exiting the Clinton 2 Appletree bus to go home, I realized my cell phone had fallen out of my pocket. I panicked and started looking for an NFTA number to call while simultaneously preparing to activate an old phone. I was sure I would never see my new phone again. Suddenly my home phone rang, and the voice on the other end said, 'Hi, I'm David. I was your driver for the #2A ride. I think I have your phone.' The driver had used my emergency contact info to call me. David then told me he was NOW on the William Street bus route heading for Appletree and asked if I wanted to meet him at a stop. I live not too far from Appletree. I met the driver at the last stop (he made sure I was me) then handed me my phone! Amazing above and beyond! BTW, I have been on this driver's route again. He is friendly, attentive, and a top-notch driver & super clean bus."
  
  
• The Customer stated she is from out of town and was visiting the Niagara Falls area. She used our Trolley service from her hotel many times last week. She stated the driver was very polite every morning she boarded. The driver greeted all the passengers with a positive attitude and a "Good morning." She was very pleased with our service and really appreciated his kindness during her commute, which made her stay much more enjoyable. She wants him to be recognized for his exceptional customer service. 
  
  
• The Customer stated the following: "I was on vacation in Niagara Falls. I am a Veteran, Air Force, age 86, with 3 of us on the Trolley. The driver is an excellent professional, and I highly recommend him as the best employee of the year. He is patient, waiting for all 3 of us. Veteran, hop-on/hop-off the Trolley. As we get older, we may fall; he never complains. He greets us with a big smile, 'Good morning,' and when we get off the Trolley, he says, 'Thank you for riding Metro Niagara Falls Trolley. Have a great day.'  We had the best service, and we did not even pay for the Trolley. We stayed at a hotel for 1 week, and we got a daily pass from the front desk. The three of us highly recommend the driver!"
  
  
• According to the Customer, the Operator was on a pull-out trip traveling to the Niagara Falls Transportation Center and was westbound on Grand Island Boulevard, preparing to enter the I-190/I-290 on-ramp near Cooper Avenue, when the Operator observed a child on or near the thruway. The Operator contacted Bus Control, and police were dispatched to the area. The Customer expressed her appreciation for the Operator's actions, stating that she was grateful the driver stopped and assisted, as the child could potentially have been injured. 
  
  
• The caller states that the bus driver was very kind and helpful, and that she felt better.
  
  
• The Customer states that the Operator was wonderful! I really appreciate the way he handled a disabled person. Also, the fact that he really utilizes defensive driving. I felt safe and in good hands! 
  It made it very pleasant.
  
  
• The Customer stated that their driver did an amazing job working the festival. He followed all instructions and remained with the vehicle. He also was very polite and attentive. Great work!
  
  
• The caller states that the driver lowered the bus without her asking and that she really appreciated it. Usually, she feels like she has to jump down. Great driver.
  
  
• The Customer wanted to thank the TAPD Officer for helping her get to the last 16 bus leaving Erie County Fair on Tuesday evening. She appreciated her greatly.
  
  
• The Customer stated that their driver did an amazing job working the festival. He followed all instructions and remained with the vehicle. He also was very polite and attentive. Great work!
  
  
• The Customer stated that their driver helped someone experiencing a medical emergency. The driver had gone over to the TAPD and advised them of the situation.
  
  
• The Customer is very pleased with this Operator and wants to thank her for always doing a great job and getting her to work on time.
