We are always excited to share our Metro customers' kind words. Below you will find some commendations for the month of November 2025.
- The customer was very pleased with the service provided by the bus operator. Very happy to have him. He was very attentive to customers' needs, such as lowering the bus when needed. Very respectful, even when other passengers were giving him a hard time. Aware of safety measures on the road, paid very close attention to construction areas, and kept on schedule.
- The customer states that the operator on bus 5 reinforced policies requiring aisle clearance for safety reasons. The operator knows the route they are running
- The customer stated that this driver was excellent, went above and beyond, and helped her get to her destination safely and soundly. The customer is new in town and doesn't know her way around, but this driver gave her so much peace of mind
- The caller states the driver stopped the train to address students who were smoking on board. When they refused, the operator called transit police to have them removed. The caller was very grateful to have the train operator step in to stop them due to her having Asthma.
- Customer calling in for a bus operator with exceptional service. Went out of their way to wait for a passenger who was quite far from the bus stop so they could board the bus.
- Operator on #32 outbound at 11:58 am at Delaware Ave. During the rain, standing water formed at the stop. The operator approached the stop slowly to avoid splashing. Much appreciated. Thank you
- This driver was fantastic. Went above and beyond and returned the lost item. The customer is very pleased. Thank you!
- Customer states bus operator was nice and polite with her, and "let the bus down." Great customer service with other passengers.
- The operator went above and beyond to return and pick up the driver, even though the previous bus had called ahead to ensure the connection. The customer stated they are visually impaired and was grateful to this Operator for making the connection possible
- Friday afternoon, around 4:15 PM, I was walking toward the corner of Bailey, and as your driver was about to leave that bus stop on a very busy afternoon. I waved; he spotted me and waited for me to cross the street and board the bus. He sacrificed a minute or two of his busy schedule to save me 20 minutes waiting for the next bus. Along the way, near the Grider detour, an elderly gentleman stepped up to board the bus, looking confused. The driver sensed the passenger's confusion and gently quizzed him on where he was headed. After a minute or two, he clarified that the passenger needed to board bus #13 and patiently waited for the passenger to acknowledge the instruction and slowly step off the bus. Later, while driving down Hertel, Driver noticed a bicyclist sitting with his bicycle near the bus stop. Your driver slowed down and waved to ask the cyclist if he intended to board the bus. The man waived "thank you" and declined. There were other instances of patience and courtesy exhibited along the route as well. Thank you for training your drivers so well.
