The NFTA is pleased to offer free Reddy Bikeshare memberships to employees for the 2026 season (April - November). Reddy Bikeshare bikes are the red bikes you have seen at bike-share stations around Buffalo and Niagara Falls. With a Reddy Bikeshare membership, you gain access to a fleet of almost 600 bikes (electric bikes too!).

If you are a returning corporate pass member, your account was renewed:

Just log in to your existing Bikeshare account at Reddybikeshare.com or at app.socialbicycles.com

Contact simon@reddybikeshare.com if you have trouble accessing your corporate pass.

To sign up for a new account, follow these steps:

  • Scan the QR code found on the screens or on the posted flyers.
  • Click on NFTA Employee Pass and Register for a Free Pass.
  • Download the Social Bicycles App or visit app.socialbicycles.com

You can use the Social Bicycles (SoBi) app to unlock bikes, locate bike racks, pay for your rides, track your trips, and so much more. To unlock a bike, open the QR scanner from your SoBi app, and scan the QR code found on the back of the bike. Don’t forget to place the U-Lock in the holster before you ride.

You can lock the bike to any other Reddy station or public bike rack* in the service area at the end of your trip. Check the app to view the service area map.

* The cost to end your trip at a public bike rack outside of a free parking zone is $2.00. To avoid this fee, return the bike to any Reddy station or a free parking zone.

Remember, the cost to you is just 1 cent per minute for a regular bike, 10 cents per minute for an e-bike, and additional parking fees may apply if you park outside the free parking zone or do not properly lock your bike.

Please note these free memberships are for NFTA employees, only.

Pro Tips:

The seat adjusts to your height, and there are three gears on your right handle and a bell on your left. Use them!

Press the "HOLD" button on the bike's keypad before locking the bike to keep it reserved while you make stops along your trip.

Find Bounty Bikes to accrue credit. When you find a Reddy bike outside a station or free parking zone, bring it back to a Reddy station and receive $1.00 in riding credit.

Reddy Bikeshare representatives will be on site to answer all your questions.
