Going to the gym can get kind of boring and we could use a change of scenery. With this stretch of beautiful, sunny weather, this is the best time to take your workouts outside. 

Here's some outdoor activities that you can do to stay fit:

Go swimming. Swimming is a great way to burn calories and you can do it anywhere. Swim in the backyard pool or lake. 

Head out on a hike. There are trails all around us. Check out our Elements story here that links all the hiking trails in NYS. 

Do a stair workout. Wherever you go, there will be a set of stairs to workout on. Start by slowly building your endurance, and pretty soon you'll be running the stairs. 

Do an outdoor workout. There are plenty of free outdoor exercise classes in the area. Click here to view the classes offered. 

Go for a bike ride. Plan a trip with friends and bike to dinner or to get some ice cream.

Workout with friends. Staying fit with friends is so much easier and enjoyable. Not only do you get the benefits of exercise, but you also get the company of your friends.
