Transit Police officer Mark Dole was recognized for his excellence in law enforcement from the Western New York Chapter of ASIS International. The award was recently presented at the Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Luncheon at Salvatore’s Italian Garden’s.
“I’m very proud of Officer Dole,” said TAPD Chief George Gast, “It’s important to acknowledge the tremendous work of our officers, they work extremely hard to make a difference in our community. We are grateful to ASIS for honoring the many law enforcement professionals in Western New York who protect our community.”
Officer Dole was among an elite group of officers from Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, Orleans, Genesee and Wyoming Counties as well as Federal and State Law Enforcement agencies. The awards were given to officers who perform “above and beyond” the call of duty.
