TAPD Chief George Gast welcomed two new TAPD officers at a swearing in ceremony on Thursday, April 29.
Aaron Janti is a Hamburg native and former NYS Corrections Officer. He has a bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Medaille College and is also a dedicated sports official. He referees a variety of sports including volleyball, basketball, and softball-- both on a national and local levels. He is married to his wife Kelly, and they are proud parents of twin one-year old girls, Finley and Andersyn.
Jeffrey O’Donnell of Clarence has a bachelor's degree in Homeland Security from Medaille College and an Associate's Degree in criminal justice from Erie Community College. His law enforcement career includes working for the Gwinnett County Police in Georgia. He was excited to come back to Buffalo and serve the WNY community, which he calls home. In his free time, he enjoys weight lifting, hiking, and bicycling.
Please join in a congratulatory "salute" to our new TAPD officers. They will begin the Police Academy in August of this year and are expected to graduate in December.
