The Buffalo History Museum needs and values NFTA volunteers to assist with various roles, including museum tours, event support, collections assistance, and programming. You can learn more and apply by visiting their website or by emailing Kara at volunteers@bnhv.org after filling out their application form.
How to Volunteer:
- Visit the website: Go to The Buffalo History Museum's volunteer page to learn about different roles and/or fill out the Interest Form.
- Complete the application: Fill out the volunteer application form and send it to Kara at volunteers@bnhv.org. You can also send any questions to this email, also.
Types of Opportunities:

Docent/Tour Guide:Share your enthusiasm and knowledge with museum visitors.

Events & Programs:Assist with fundraising events, community outreach, and managing youth activities.

Collections & Archives:Help with tasks like inventory, processing, and cataloging documents, photographs, and objects.

Contemporary Collecting:Contribute to preserving today's stories by submitting contemporary photos, videos, and stories.
