As we countdown to 2024, organizers of the City of Buffalo's New Year’s Eve ball drop event are ramping up for a fun evening ahead.

The 36th Annual New Year's Eve ball drop celebration will begin tonight (Dec. 31) at 10 p.m. in Roosevelt Plaza. It will feature live music by The Strictly Hip and Saxophonist Will Holton. It will conclude with the traditional ball drop from the Iskalo Development Electric Tower at midnight, followed by fireworks.

Buffalo’s New Year’s Eve gathering is the second largest such celebration in New York State.

Remember, Metro services are an option if you are heading to the ball drop. For more information, visit Metro.nfta.com.

Wishing you a safe and happy New Year's Eve celebration!
