On Thursday, Delaware North announced a $3 million concept for three new concessions coming to the Buffalo airport with an emphasis on local connections. The new concessions are part of an overall upgrade of the airport that includes its current expansion project and the opening of The Club Lounge.  Now planned is the addition of BurgerFi, Bocce Club Pizza, and a grab-and-go Market on Elmwood. 

The three new vendors will offer a variety of hearty fare.  BurgerFi, which will replace Checkers, is a fast-growing national burger brand with more than 100 locations in 20 states.  The other two reflect a local flavor; Bocce Club Pizza, operating in Buffalo since 1946, will replace Villa Pizza, and the Market on Elmwood that will offer hot/cold foods to go.  The new vendors are expected to open in June of next year, 2020.
