On Wednesday, Dec. 18, the TSA in conjunction with NFTA representatives, held a press conference at the Buffalo Airport to discuss holiday tips and demonstrate how best pack a carry-on bag for travel.

TSA officials provided an overview of what to expect during the holiday travel period; how to avoid the need for a bag check; how prohibited items in carry-on bags slow down the security screening process, and simple ways to determine if an item should be packed in a carry-on or checked bag.
