The Winter Preparedness Fairs are comprehensive events that aim to provide a wide range of critical resources to help WNY residents manage the challenges of Buffalo's winter season.

The fairs will include:

  • Winter Weather Care Kits: These kits are designed to help attendees build their own essential winter supply kits, ensuring they are prepared for whatever the winter may bring.
  • Food & Shelter Resources: Information about local shelters and food programs available during winter.
  • Assistance Program Registrations: Residents can register for various assistance programs.

The City of Buffalo's Common Council is also seeking donations of any kind. Your involvement would be greatly appreciated, whether you can contribute essential supplies (flashlights, batteries, toiletries, hand warmers), and/or financial support.

If you are interested in donating anything, you can contact csolomon-carter@buffalony.gov or call 716-851-4811. This contact is only for donations.
