Ashley Smith has joined the NFTA as the new Assistant Manager of Government Relations and Development. Ashley previously served as Deputy Director of GO Bike Buffalo and worked with the NYC Rudin Center for Transportation on transit and paratransit projects.

Ashley received her Masters in Urban Planning from NYC Wagner. At graduation she was awarded the Robert Berne Award for Leadership due to her extraordinary contributions to the community. 

In her free time, Ashley enjoys reading books and knitting. When asked her favorite book, she said "anything and everything." She would appreciate any book and/or pattern recommendations.
