Bradley Wheeler has joined the NFTA as our new Manager of Airfield Operations. Bradley comes to us from Marquette Sawyer Regional Airport in Michigan, where he gained valuable experience in airport operations. He also previously served as an Airport Operations Officer at Evansville Regional Airport in Indiana. 

Bradley holds a degree in Airport Management from the University of North Dakota (UND), where he distinguished himself as the President of the UND Student Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE). His certifications include Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF), Private Pilot Certification, AAAE Certified Member (C.M.), Airport Security Coordinator (ASC), and Airport Certified Employee (ACE).

In his new role, Bradley will oversee BUF’s Airfield Operations with a strong focus on safety, operational excellence, snow removal, and employee satisfaction. 

Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis and golf, as well as watching college hockey, basketball, and football. He also follows the NFL and the PGA Tour.
