We are excited to welcome our new Vice President of Operations, Brendan Mehaffy. In this role, Brendan will oversee both the Aviation and Transit divisions within the NFTA. 

Prior to joining the NFTA, Brendan served as the Director of Development Strategies at Wendel Companies. Previously, he was the Executive Director of the Office of Strategic Planning for the City of Buffalo. Brendan brings over 20 years of experience in various strategic areas, including mobility, smart street planning, infrastructure, land use, and transit-oriented development. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Binghamton University, a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from the London School of Economics, and a Juris Doctorate from SUNY Buffalo Law School.
