Doreen Watson joins the NFTA as our new Paralegal within the division of the General Counsel.  She has 20+ years of paralegal experience within various areas of law. The most recent was 3-1/2 years as a litigation paralegal in an insurance defense firm. This role was formerly held by Sheila Keane who has moved on to another firm.  

Doreen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from SUNY Brockport. She also has two associate degrees -- Paralegal and General studies. 

Before going back to college to fulfill her childhood dream of working in the legal field, she drove an over-the-road semi-truck for 6 years, driving in Canada, Mexico, and covering all 48 continental states. She and her husband have just sent their only son off to college and are looking forward to continuing their travels worldwide. She is also enjoying learning to swim, bicycling, and researching upcoming travel destinations.
