Emma Hoffritz has joined the Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) team as the NFTA’s first Manager of Sustainability. In her role, Emma will be responsible for developing and implementing an authority-wide sustainability plan.

Before the NFTA, Emma gained valuable experience through her work with the City of Buffalo Division of Urban Affairs and the Buffalo Sewer Authority. Emma holds an M.S. in Engineering Sustainability and a B.S. in Mathematics, each from the University at Buffalo.

Outside of the office, Emma is a violinist with the Amherst Symphony Orchestra. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her pitbull, Maggie, listening to live music, and cheering on the Buffalo Sabres.
