Jaclyn (Jackie) Wanemaker, Esq., has joined the NFTA as litigation counsel, where she will work within the office of the General Counsel.

Before joining the NFTA, Jackie was a partner at the law firm Smith Sovik Kendrick & Sugnet, PC, where she defended medical providers in malpractice actions and handled the defense of individuals and businesses in personal injury cases. Her 20+ years of litigation experience include premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, construction accidents, and municipal liability.  A native of WNY, she attended the University at Buffalo for both her undergraduate and law school studies and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a JD.

Jackie spends her free time outdoors as much as she can, working in the yard or hiking. She loves to travel and hopes to see all the National Parks someday.
