Please welcome the NFTA's Transit Authority Police Department's new recruits!  These proud new officers graduated from the Erie County Law Enforcement Academy in December, 2019.  They have all been officially sworn in.

The four recruits were extensively trained in firearms, defensive tactics, emergency vehicle operation, report writing, NYS Penal Law, NYS Vehicle and Traffic Law, criminal investigations, DWI detection, domestic violence, accident investigation, vehicle stops, and relentless physical training. They all graduated with honors. After a comprehensive 10-week on-the-job training program, they will all be ready for solo patrol duties in March 2020.
