Nicole Hill has joined the Service Planning team as a Senior Transportation Planner. Nicole has spent the last three years as a Transportation Planner on the Capital Development team at Valley Metro RPTA in Phoenix, Arizona. Nicole is passionate about helping to provide communities with a safe, reliable, and inclusive transportation network.  She is excited to bring the skills and experiences from Phoenix metropolitan area to her hometown of Buffalo, NY.

At Valley Metro, Nicole worked on multiple rail extension projects at various phases including the valley’s first elevated station that connects to a mall revitalization project, managed the transit-oriented development program as well as other capital projects.

Nicole holds a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from the School of Architecture and Planning at the University at Buffalo and also has an Advanced Sustainability Certificate.

In her spare time, Nicole enjoys to hiking, biking around the city, and going on runs for exercise. She is very excited to be back in the Western New York region so she can get back into her winter sport of snowboarding.

Nicole also recently got engaged to her fiancé Hunter. They are both expecting a baby girl in August.
