Sam Gallivan

Sam Gallivan has joined the Service Planning team as its new Project Planner. Sam will be managing a project that involves reimagining NFTA’s paratransit services, from evaluating the impacts and opportunities of a possible expansion of the PAL service area to identifying enhancements and alternatives to existing services. Sam will also participate in longer-term planning activities such as the Bailey BRT project development and help on other planning projects where needed.

Sam has a strong academic background from the University of Buffalo’s School of Architecture and Planning. He has worked on research projects dealing with climate resilience, equity, and housing and earned a Master’s in Urban Planning.

About his new role, Sam said, "I am super excited to work with such a great team and help make the world of transportation a better place."

Sam is a big Buffalo sports fan (Sabres and Bills!), with other hobbies, including hockey, tabletop gaming, and traveling.

Please join in welcoming Sam to the NFTA. He is located on the third floor at the MTC.
