Shawn Sikes joins NFTA Metro as our newest rail mechanic. He comes to us with 20+ years of welding and mechanical experience in the railroad and oil field industries. Shawn previously worked as a shop foreman in oil rig development for six years. 

He attended Alabama Aviation and Technology College and the Florida Institute of Technology, studying mechanical engineering and flight maintenance. 

Shawn is a father of two and loves traveling. He also is a classic car enthusiast and an L.A. Dodgers fan.
