Steve Chase has joined the NFTA as our Metro's new Manager of Transportation Services. He brings over 20 years of experience in transportation safety, training, compliance, and operations, including senior leadership roles with First Student and Transdev/First Transit. His background also includes service with the New York State Department of Corrections, where he gained extensive expertise in training, safety, and team leadership. With certifications ranging from accident investigation and OSHA compliance to Smith System instruction, he has built a strong reputation for driving safety, efficiency, and innovation.

In this new role, Steve will oversee Metro’s transportation services with a focus on safety, operational excellence, and customer service. His proven ability to lead teams, investigate and resolve challenges, and implement effective processes will be a valuable asset to our company and community.
