On February 18, a swearing-in ceremony was held to induct three new ARFF members: Mark Wohlfiel, Greg Macfarlane, and Zach Capaozzi. 

FF Mark was hired in July 2022 and has completed the NYS 15-week fire academy. He has earned his Part 229 Municipal Fire Certification and is currently on the 3^rd platoon.

Greg and Zach started in January 2023. They are in their first week of the 15-week academy.  Upon completion of the academy, the firefighters earn their National Certification in the following areas: Firefighter one and two, Haz-Mat Operations, and Fire and Life Safety Educator.  

All three firefighters will attend the FAA Basic ARFF class in the fall.
