Grants and Development

The Grants and Development department works closely with federal, state, and local entities in order to identity and secure both public and private-sector funding in cooperation with NFTA business centers and external project partners.

While prioritizing the capital and operating needs of the Authority, the department maintains its mission to increase transit ridership, generate revenue, improve equitable outcomes and the overall quality of life within the Buffalo-Niagara region.
